| Brief Description: | Join the North Georgia Bicycle Dealers Association for the First Annual Gear Up For Acworth Metric Century. The NGBDA is dedicated to bringing the best bicycles and services to North Georgia. The organization is active in promoting bicycle safety, ensuring land access, promoting pro-bicycle legislation, developing bicycling facilities, and fostering local mountain bike racing. A full 80% of monies raised through the organization's fundraising events has been donated toward these activities. |

| On-site registration and packet pick-up:: | Registration and pre-registration packet pick-up will open at 7:30 AM and remain open until ride departs. |
| Fees Include:: | T-Shirt for early registered riders, well stocked sag stops for all length rides, post ride pasta lunch, free tech support provided by the North Georgia Bicycle Dealers Association members. |
| Course:: | All rides will have marked pavement, maps will be provided at packet pick-up / registration. The ride will leave the church parking lot and head North on Main Street / Hwy 293 winding through Bartow County. Terrain is typical of most rides in the North Atlanta Metro area. |
